When you need a written statement
You need a written statement when the consulate asks for a written explanation of a specific matter, or in any other situation that calls for additional explanation. Please contact us to find out whether your case requires one.
A note on language: the statement itself is a Chinese-language document, which is what consulates expect. Please write your explanation in Chinese — if you would rather write it in English and have us translate it, just send it to us.
Before you submit it
The signature line is blank on purpose. Consulates require a handwritten signature — print the PDF and sign it; an electronic signature is not accepted here.
Write truthfully. The closing line of the statement is your own undertaking that the content is true and that you accept legal responsibility if it is not. A false statement can lead to refusal and affect future applications.
This tool only handles formatting. The content comes entirely from what you type; we do not verify it and make no warranty. Acceptance is decided by the consular authority.
Nothing you type is stored. It is used only to generate this one PDF — no database, no logs — and is discarded from server memory immediately afterwards.
